I'm Megan, MHC Intern (She/her/hers)
Hello! my name is Megan Crawford (she/her) and I’m studying Clinical Counseling at Northwestern University.
As a child I grew to learn that I was soft hearted and empathetic as I was raised closely to my family who was built of all types of beautiful personalities. Over time I realized that
some of my loved ones suffered from undiagnosed mental illness and substance abuse.
From the age of 10, I witnessed the battles that came along with not seeking support. I’m grateful I was also shown unconditional love in my childhood. Although there were
struggles in my past, I still hold my family members to the highest regards as they are now on their own individual journeys of healing.
As an adult, I developed a passion to serve those who needed support that wasn’t available to my family when I was younger. I have personal and professional experience with grief, substance abuse, personality disorders, domestic violence, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I would be honored to serve you in the process of making the decision to prioritize your journey to the healing and growth needed to unlock inner
peace and an elevated life experience.
